Applications for aviation
Fixed wing and rotary wing
The A380 features an electric door actuation system replacing manual mechanisms, with three actuators for opening, securing, and locking the door. Its cargo loading system uses Power Drive Units (PDUs) to move pallets under all conditions, with self-erecting and spring-loaded PDUs ensuring traction, lift, and weight support during loading and unloading.

WITTENSTEIN develops advanced Control Loading Systems for flight simulators, which play a crucial role in pilot training by authentically replicating aircraft behavior and failure modes. These turnkey solutions include integrated hardware, actuators, force sensors, and the Aktiv8® software suite, ensuring realistic control feedback for any aircraft type.
Our systems are customizable, supporting both fixed-wing and rotary aircraft such as the Boeing 707, EC135/635, and AW139, and meet all EASA and FAA qualification standards.
